"The Iberian Tour is a great asset for Portuguese golf and a unique oportunity to increase the pro competition. The Portuguese Golf Federation and the Portuguese golf clubs have been able to produce very good amateur talents but they have no motivation to become pros because Portugal lacks pro tournaments on a basic level.
