Objectives

The main objective of the Iberian Golf Tour is to provide players with the possibility of practice and play under tournament conditions, in a region that is known for its good climate, quality golf courses and hospitality. As most other Tours are inactive over this period of the year, the IG Tour will provide players with an option over this period at a reasonable cost.

A further objective is to grow the Tour to 25 professional events during the year; offer value for money along with an enjoyable stay; as new sponsors join the Tour lower participation and entry costs; provide Members with an entry onto higher level Tours; and in the near future develop a Challenge Tour event as the season's final event of the year.
